Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.

DEVOTION
When someone wrongs us but doesn’t ask for forgiveness, what should we do? Do we hold onto it and let it fester, or do we let it go and forgive anyway? Jesus gives us the answer. Forgiveness is not for the other person all of the time, sometimes it’s for each of us as well.
