DAILY VERSE
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers – Acts 2:42

DEVOTION
What is fellowship to you? So many Christians view it as cheesy conversations in the church lobby or courtyard after services. But fellowship is much more than that, it’s the sharing of our lives. It’s breaking bread together, sharing your worries and triumphs, it’s about being vulnerable and real. It takes a group of people willing to make sacrifices to change the world.

DAILY VERSE
Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness. – Psalm 29:1–2

DEVOTION
It’s great to meditate on God’s promises and reflect on how he cares for us, but our true purpose in life is worship. Worship is not just about singing in church, anything we do can be considered as worship if it’s done to show our love for God. You can dedicate your work day to the Lord, your interactions with people you see in Starbucks, making dinner, washing your car…anything you do! So get out there and worship God in all that you do today!

DAILY VERSE
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. – Hebrews 11:6

DEVOTION
It seems the Christian church is known for it’s morality and some people are drawn there to become better people. While I agree, the church is a place for teaching and fellowship. It’s a place where believers congregate. The church welcomes anyone with open arms, but to be considered a follower of Jesus Christ you have to believe and have faith. Simply attending church services does not reserve you a spot in heaven. God cannot use church goers, he wants true believers.

DAILY VERSE
Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. – 1 Peter 4:1-2

DEVOTION
Christ suffered horribly for all of us! The torture techniques used to batter and pull flesh from his body prior to the suffering the cross would bring, were unimaginable. You and I must be just as willing to endure trials and suffering for Christ just as he did for us. We have to be willing to be a living sacrifice, because there are many who still don’t know him, and if you haven’t noticed lately, attacks on Christians are on the rise. Stand with Christ, for Christ, and change the world!

DAILY VERSE
The Lord answered, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,’ and it would obey you! – Luke 17:6

DEVOTION
Never doubt or underestimate the power available to you through the Holy Spirit! A mustard seed is barely big enough to pick up, and unfortunately, most of us suffer from lack of faith. God has not called us to be timid or fearful, he’s called us to boldly go forth and wreck this world for Jesus! Each of us can do great things, we just have to have the faith to do it.

DAILY VERSE
The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. – Psalm 18:2

DEVOTION
Sometimes when life gets overwhelming, we all need a safe place to find refuge. Let God be the place you seek, the place where you know for certain that you will be safe. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, he never changes. He’s not swayed by popular fads or crazes, he doesn’t take political sides, leaders of countries cannot persuade him. We see the world in our present state, God sees the end results and wants to guide you in the right direction.

DAILY VERSE
Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. – Ephesians 4:15

DEVOTION
The motivation in which Christians speak can either draw people to Christ or repel them. When Christians condemn, they’re not conveying the message of Jesus. We’re not here to scare people into heaven, we’re hear to love them and draw them to Jesus. It’s by no result of our own, but Jesus Christ working through us that draws the sinner to him.

DAILY VERSE
Transfer some of your authority to him so the whole community of Israel will obey him.
– Numbers 27:20

DEVOTION
People tend to think of Moses as simply the guy who led Israel out of Egypt to the promised land. Oh, and we can’t forget parting the Red Sea. But he was much, much more than that. The bible tells of him coming down from the mountain after talking with God, glowing! This verse gives us an idea of how much power Moses really had, that he had to transfer some of it to Joshua so he could lead the people. Never doubt that God has the ability to do great things! He took a stuttering, indecisive man and transformed him into a sea splitting powerhouse.

DAILY VERSE
Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person. – Genesis 2:7

DEVOTION
God breathed the breath of life into the first man and every human being that pulls in a breath and lives. Think about that for a minute. God has breathed into you life, without God sustaining you there’s nothing but death. Every person, whether they believe or not, is living by God’s power. God’s presence is all around us at all times. For those who believe, an eternity is laid out before them. For those that do not? Share your faith to ensure heaven will be overflowing with souls breathing in and exhaling God’s presence!

DAILY VERSE
Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.
Matthew 7:20

DEVOTION
Many people “claim” to be this or that, but the true test of who someone is comes from their actions. We see it all the time on television, people claiming that they are Christians, but their actions run completely opposite. Take for instance the Christians you’ve met outside of church. Was it the way they carried themselves, something different and intriguing about them that tipped you off? People who truly follow Christ are easy to spot, just as those who do not make it obvious in the things they do. Be a fruit bearing follower of Christ so there will be no question who you serve.
