DAILY VERSE
Dear brothers and sisters, I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join in my struggle by praying to God for me. Do this because of your love for me, given to you by the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:30
DEVOTION
Prayer is one of the most powerful ways to bless others. Better than any gift you can ever give, prayer can change lives. As followers of Jesus, we have a direct and open line to God 365 days a year 24/7. Utilize this ability daily and see what great things God will do.

DAILY VERSE
Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Your name give glory, for the sake of Your mercy, and for the sake of Your truth.
Psalm 135:1
DEVOTION
How often do we give God the glory? All things good, big and small, are given to us by God. Learning to give God the glory for all things trains us to praise God constantly. So often we forget to rely on God in the good times, giving him the credit. We tend to think it’s by our strength and talents that good things come our way. What things should you be giving God the glory for today?

DAILY VERSE
Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

You can’t “pretend to follow Christ, it’s something you have to do everyday 24/7. Following Christ is a sacrifice, sacrificing yourself. Once you’ve made that sacrifice, your life will transform over time. You will begin to emulate the attributes described in these verses.

DAILY VERSE
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:31–32
DEVOTION
There is nothing more destructive than holding a grudge. How many relationships have been destroyed by people who are unwilling to forgive? God places hand-picked people in our lives, how many have you let go of due to unforgiveness? Think of the mountain of sin that God has forgiven you, then forgive those people who God has placed in your life.

DAILY VERSE
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant.
1 Corinthians 13:4
DEVOTION
So many people have no idea what love really is. Love goes deeper than beauty, it goes farther than an eternity, and runs deeper than any ocean. God truly loves us! For us to experience even a grain of sand’s worth of what love really is, is a blessing. When you look at your spouse or loved ones, do you truly experience love? Love is selfless, it’s not a feeling, it’s an action.

DAILY VERSE
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
1 Corinthians 13:1
DEVOTION
There are a lot of things going on in the world around us that evidence the power of evil. As followers of Jesus, we need to be an example of his love for others. We have to be different, we have to love our enemies, and show others the same kindness Jesus showed the adulterer, the tax collectors, the prostitute, the sick, and even the dead. People will never respond to someone who’s appointed themselves judge and jury…so love.
