Hebrews 11:30

DEVOTION

As an emotionally driven people, we often find ourselves in peaks and valleys, caught between hope and despair. This creates a “roller coaster effect” that puts us in a chaotic state, with little room for faith.

But God uses these seasons to stretch, bend, purify, and refine us into warriors for His Kingdom. Once you put aside emotions and rely strictly on your faith; chaos turns into peace, the refining process accelerates, leaving room for God’s blessings to wash over you in a new way!

Grace in a Whole New Way

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.

Isaiah 26:4

DEVOTION

Putting your full trust in Jesus is a deliberate action. Once you do, you will see more clearly, His works. You will feel His guidance. You will see Him answer your prayers in unique ways that may seem trivial to someone else, but have a deeper meaning to you.

Life is an adventure. Life trusting in Jesus will develop your faith and allow you to experience God’s grace in a whole new way!

Fear is the Opposite of Faith

DAILY VERSE

Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.

John 14:27

DEVOTION

You can watch the news today and get your stomach twisted into knots with everything that’s going on. But God does not want you to live that way! It’s good to be cautious and follow sound advice, but being consumed with anxiety and fear is exactly the polar opposite of God’s will for you.

Faith is believing that God has your back, no matter what the situation is. The Enemy is lurking around every corner, waiting to steal your joy. Don’t let him!

Suit Up!

DAILY VERSE

Those who know your name trust in you,for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Psalm 9:10

DEVOTION

Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den and came out without a scratch. David faced Goliath and conquered the giant. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego walked into the blazing furnace and came out without a single singed hair.

Trusting God is not simply for the heroes we read about in the Bible. That power is available to every one of us who believes!

Whatever you’re facing today, suit up! God has your back, you can place your full trust in Him!

He is Aware

DAILY VERSE

Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.

Isaiah 65:24

DEVOTION

Our relationship to God is not something that resembles a phone conversation. It doesn’t require a phone connection. He’s always aware of us and what we’re going through.

Prayer is a deliberate response. It’s our yearning to develop that relationship that God desires.

Prayer is a two way conversation. Watch how God moves and answers your prayers. Be thankful as He blesses you. May God be glorified!

See Others as Worthy

DAILY VERSE

When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

Matthew 9:11

DEVOTION

When I picture the church I see people from all walks of life and socioeconomic classes. As they pass through the doors all of their labels fall off and everyone is on equal ground.

Are there people, friends, or family members you look down on because of these factors? You have to ask yourself, “What does Jesus see when He looks at these people?” When you can answer that, that is how you should see them also.

We’ve all sinned and fall short. God loves each and every one of us without condition. When we see others that way, we will desire to love them the same way Christ loves us!

Your Complete Trust

DAILY VERSE

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

Psalm 20:7

DEVOTION

Trust is an important indicator of where your heart lies. Are you focused and connected to God, or are you placing your trust in the world?

Whatever you may be going through today, placing your trust in God indicates to Him that you trust Him!

Like the house built on The Rock, placing your complete trust in God is a firm foundation for your faith!
