Live Your Faith

DAILY VERSE

But Jesus replied, “My Father never stops working, so why should I?”

John 5:17

DEVOTION

Our faith is something we should carry with us 24/7. If we simply put it on like a suit, only on Sundays, how will the world ever see Jesus in you?

Jesus lived a life of service. Most of the powerful priests of the time treated him like an enemy. They were known for living a “do as I say, not as I do” lifestyle. Jesus’ knowledge and compassion, along with His obvious authority, threatened their status.

Live your faith daily in all that you do! Let them see Jesus in and through you!

In His Mercy

DAILY VERSE

All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.

1 John 4:15

DEVOTION

As we continue to enjoy this most joyful time of the year, let us remember why there is such a celebration. God, in His mercy, sent His Son to us to wipe out our sin debt.

As we move closer to Christmas, let us feel the anticipation. Let us rejoice that our Savior has come and that believing, we are truly gifted with eternity as our crowning glory!

Your Salvation is Secure!

DAILY VERSE

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation.

Habakkuk 3:18

DEVOTION

With all of the complex things going on in our daily lives, there’s one thing that’s constant for those who believe, our salvation. No matter what you are going through, your salvation is intact!

We can allow our problems to become our main focus, but that can steal our joy. Our hope should always be tied to the fact that we have been written into God’s Book of Life.

It’s all about what you focus on!

Be Grateful and Rejoice!

DAILY VERSE

The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction.

Lamentations 3:22

DEVOTION

According to God’s original law, we would all be condemned for our sins. He says in His Word, not one of us is worthy. How many sinful thoughts do you have in a day? Just one would have condemned you.

God in His great mercy sent His Son to take the punishment we deserved! From the beatings by the Roman soldiers to being nailed onto the cross. He did that so we would have a pathway to eternity!

It is in this season we celebrate the coming of God’s only Son. Let us be grateful and rejoice!

One out of Ninty Nine

DAILY VERSE

“My wayward children,” says the LORD, “come back to me, and I will heal your wayward hearts.” “Yes, we will come,” the people reply, “for you are the LORD our God.”

Jeremiah 3:22

DEVOTION

So many, myself included, move far off the faithful path to salvation. Whatever the reason; business, burnout, success, riches, whatever the distraction, you’re not the only one.

God wants that we would all love Him and enjoy eternity in heaven. He sent His son to make a way. He comes after the 1 out of 99. If you’re feeling the magnetic pull of our Father’s love, respond.

We’re all prodigals! The heavens will rejoice for every lost sheep who returns to the fold..

You Have a Purpose

DAILY VERSE

“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.”

Jeremiah 1:5

DEVOTION

God has a plan for you. He hatched those plans before you developed in your mother’s womb. He claimed you as one of His and all roads lead back to that purpose for your life.

Yes, we have free will, and yes, most of us stray. But God will always call you back with the weight of His initial calling on your life. No matter how far you stray, God’s gravitational pull on your heart will always bring you back into His orbit.

Stop fighting what you know to be true. Allow God to transform you into the mold he predestined for you.

You Are Still in the Fight

DAILY VERSE

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

Isaiah 40:29-31

DEVOTION

It takes real determination and faith to wade through the deep waters of trials. It’s not easy. The going can, and usually does get rough. Like someone who’s been shipwrecked at sea; getting to dry land will take everything you have, but the reward is great.

If you are struggling, be encouraged. If you’re struggling that means you are still in the fight. Continue to ask God for the strength to continue. When you cross the finish line, you will see that God had a greater plan for your life than you imagined.
