DAILY VERSE
They told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he replied, “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.”
John 20:25

DEVOTION
Are you a doubting Thomas? Do you believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God? If you do then you should take it literally. The Bible is also an historical document, but the lessons are transcendent and have as much power today. Faith is something that is gifted to us by God, it breaks down the barriers of earthly knowledge and challenges you to trust in the unseen. Pray that God will increase your faith, trust in God, and trust that his word will change your life.

DAILY VERSE
They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.
Romans 2:15
DEVOTION
As you grow in your Christian faith your heart will become your compass. The heart of one who believes and follows Jesus will be able discern right from wrong in a tangible way. A heart that is changed will produce good thoughts and motives, a change visible to the world around them. In this, you will honor Christ and make his presence known.

DAILY VERSE
A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.
Proverbs 17:17

DEVOTION
Friends are an amazing asset. Getting through life’s hills and valleys is much easier when you have them. I can’t imagine getting through the things I have been through on my own. When I have tried to weather storms solo, the weight has been unbearable. Having friends to share burdens with, encourage, and fellowship with is, by design, God’s plan for each of us.

DAILY VERSE
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25

DEVOTION
Christians need to stick together and encourage each other, especially in this day and age. There seems to be a growing negativity against Christianity, even in this country. We should not apologize for our beliefs, we should continue to be outspoken, and strengthen each other in our faith. God never changes and we shouldn’t either.

DAILY VERSE
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
Psalm 32:8

DEVOTION
We’ve all made plans, had dreams, and hoped for a certain lifestyle. But to be truly blessed, to seek the fullness and peace only God can provide, to get that we need to ask God for guidance. If left to our own devices and our own counsel, we will follow the worlds vision for success. Seek God’s vision for your life, rely on his path that he has set before you and you will not be disappointed.

DAILY VERSE
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
Deuteronomy 6:5

DEVOTION
The hardest thing about loving God is putting him above all things, especially yourself. Once you can do that, you will enjoy the peace God promises all of us. If you’re struggling where you are with your career, relationship, or life in general it is because you are more focused on the world around you than on God. God has you right where you’re supposed to be. He’s never late, he’s always on time, he has a plan for you. Put your full trust and focus in him and you will see that plan unfold.

DAILY VERSE
…So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud.
2 Corinthians 12:7

DEVOTION
God allows for bad things to happen to good people. He doesn’t necessarily cause them to happen, but he doesn’t always stop them from happening. Paul was tormented by a demon to stop him from being prideful. Trials are meant to be times of learning and sometimes correction. It’s not about, “Why me?” its about, “What do you want me to learn from this?”
