We’re all on a level playing field…

For God shows no partiality.

Romans 2:11

For such a small verse there’s a lot packed into these five words. If God shows no partiality, then that means we are all on a level playing field. Your status, salary, position, none of that matters to God. You can humbly come before Him, He will hear you, and He will answer your prayers!

Let the Walls Fall

You shall march around the city, all the men of war going around the city once. Thus shall you do for six days.

Joshua 6:3

Do you have a Jericho you’ve been praying would fall? Something you’ve felt God has put on your heart and you’ve been faithfully praying for days, months, or years God would bring to completion? Sometimes it can feel as if all your doing is circling those walls, waiting for them to fall. Continue to be faithful! God has seen and heard your faithful prayers. The walls will fall and God will pour out His blessings!

Are you limiting God?

Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.

Proverbs 23:18

The Bible is clear when it comes to the good and bad things that have occurred over our lifetime, we’re to look forward not back. The key to how big God will go relies squarely on your belief and your faith. God has great plans for you. Will you limit Him into the space of a shoebox, or will you allow Him to move mountains?

God’s Not Finished!

John Griffiths

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:6

Have you ever said to yourself, “This is it?” You’ve messed up, you’ve made mistakes, you feel like you are living “Groundhog Day”, every day. God’s not finished yet. If you haven’t seen the breakthrough, God’s not finished yet. If you haven’t seen the miracle, if things haven’t turned around for the good, don’t worry. God’s not finished.

Dare to Trust Him

…and keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.

1 King 2:3

We make plans, we set goals, we have desires, but the most important thing to focus on is the direction God has pointed you. It’s so easy to get caught up in the things that are deemed as successful in the eyes of the world. God’s plans will certainly lead you to peace and prosperity if you would only dare to trust Him.

Limiting God’s Blessings

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.

Ephesians 3:20

There was a young boy fishing at a pond one sunny summer day. Across from him sat an old man watching to see how he faired. The boy cast out his line, and with a huge tug, snagged a large fish. The old man excitedly got up and rushed over to congratulate the boy. As he approached, the boy pulled the hook out of his foot long catch and tossed it back in the murky water. The old man asked, “Why did you throw that 12-inch whopper back in?” The boy looked at him and said, “I only have a 9-inch frying pan.”

How often do we turn down or miss out on God’s amazing opportunities because we’ve preconceived the size of our frying pan? As if we cannot fathom God pouring out a blessing so big that He would not give us the ability to receive it. God wants to bless you abundantly, so don’t pass up an opportunity that’s bigger than the size of your frying pan!

Blasting Through Obstacles

And it shall be said, “Build up, build up, prepare the way, remove every obstruction from my people’s way.”

Isaiah 57:14

You were meant for more than this! Your potential is endless in God’s sight! He gifted you with a skillset to do amazing things. Just ask and He will obliterate the obstructions blocking your way. May God be glorified in all that you do!
