DAILY VERSE
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
Psalm 32:8

DEVOTION
God’s guidance is priceless! We should go to Him with all of our meaningful decisions. Whether it be personal or business, God be our first stop. To go it on our own is futile and we risk failure. Take your petitions before the Lord, his guidance is a solid as a rock.

DAILY VERSE
lord, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?
But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.
Psalms 130:3-4

DEVOTION
A healthy fear of God is what each believer needs. It’s not cowering in the corner, afraid a lightning bolt will strike you at any moment. It’s having a great respect for the one who created you, believing his way is good. God wants a close relationship with each of us, with constant prayer and fellowship. He wants us to want him, to want to do the right thing.

DAILY VERSE
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.
1 Corinthians 9:24-27

DEVOTION
If we look at life as if we were running a race with heaven as the prize, we might stay on the track with more focus. Have you ever seen runners finish a marathon? They’re exhausted. What you don’t see are their toenails falling off and their feet pealing. Running such a race is agonizing. The race we run can be equally as agonizing and requires more focus. Run the race hard! Build up your spiritual chops so you have the strength to fend off the attacks of Satan and finish strong!

DAILY VERSE
Jesus replied, “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water.”
John 4:10

DEVOTION
Jesus was speaking with a Samaritan woman, a group of people despised by others. Just as he did throughout his brief ministry, he reached out to those who desperately needed the living water he could offer. The same Jesus is alive and reaching out to all people today, if they would just open their hearts and realize they need him.

DAILY VERSE
But the LORD is my fortress; my God is the mighty rock where I hide.
Psalm 94:22

DEVOTION
What do you do when you find yourself cornered by trials? God should be the first place you run to! He is the place where you will get the strength and guidance required to weather the storm. He is the place of protection where you will find comfort and peace in the midst of the crashing waves.
