DAILY VERSE
Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”
Matthew 14:31

DEVOTION
Do you consider yourself to be “experienced” at life? Do you consider yourself to be faithful? Caught in a raging storm, the disciples (some who were seasoned fisherman) were terrified. Adding to their fear, Jesus walks out on the water. Peter boldly asks Jesus to invite him out onto the water, but his faith waivers and he starts to sink. Storms in life may rise up, and they can be pretty scary. Christ invites us to have faith in Him to calm the storm and to give us the strength to weather it.

DAILY VERSE
God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.
Hebrews 6:17-18

DEVOTION
God cannot lie, when he says something it will stand for all time. God isn’t about changing his mind, he’s never unsure. So our faith in God, who doesn’t lie, can be reassured. His promises are real and can be relied on.

DAILY VERSE
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:6

DEVOTION
We’ve all sinned and turned away from the path God has laid out for us at one time or another. Some of us (myself included) have swerved way of course. The amazing thing is; God loves us and pursues us, and he sent his son to take on the punishment for all mankind! Stop looking back with regret, look forward to all that God has prepared for your future!

DAILY VERSE
You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth.
Psalm 71:20

DEVOTION
Have you ever gone through extreme hardships, lost nearly everything? If you haven’t, be very grateful! Going through losses like that can bring the strongest Christian very low. Anxiety and depression can paralyze you. But remembering one thing can give you the strength to get through anything; God believes in restoration! Pray expectantly, pray for restoration and strength…God will restore. Amen!

DAILY VERSE
Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.
Psalms 68:19

DEVOTION
Have you ever had something you’ve been faithfully praying for over a long period of time. The biggest mistake we can make is interpreting God saying “not right now” for “no”. If you have something big God has put on your heart, continue to pray without ceasing. God will let you know when and if the door has closed, until then; be expectant, God is bigger than any obstacle!

DAILY VERSE
God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
Psalm 68:6

DEVOTION
God will lead you to a way out or a way in, no matter the circumstance. The intimacy in which he is involved with your life is greater than any relationship you’ve ever experienced. To those that deny him, there’s only emptiness, which should fire up the desire to reach them that much more urgent.

DAILY VERSE
Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.
1 John 4:18

DEVOTION
Living in fear is not living at all. God is mercy, God is love. If we except that Jesus died for ALL of our sins, then fear should not be a part of our makeup. We have been redeemed. Start living, put all fear aside!
