A Prison of Hurt

And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?

Matthew 18:33

Jesus often spoke in parables to illustrate how we should react in different situations. This parable involves a man who owes a debt so high he could never pay it off. After being forgiven of his debt, this man goes and demands that a debt that is owed to him be paid in full. He ultimately ends up in prison.

Our unpayable debt has been paid in full by Jesus. Knowing that we should approach others with the same level of forgiveness. Unforgiveness is a trap, it will ultimately result in prison of hurt.
