Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.
I watched a video this weekend that really moved me.
The gist of it was this: A man was sitting in a restaurant. After ordering his meal he waited. Table after table was served their food, and he became frustrated, “Where is my order, what’s taking so long?”
The woman in the video, receiving a word from God, she said this, “Your waiting is not in vain! Your order hasn’t been lost or forgotten! It’s simply more involved, it’s special. There are special ingredients, it takes more time to make properly. Don’t lose heart! What you’ve been praying for, what you’ve been waiting for, is in the process of being accomplished! Keep praying! Keep believing! God hasn’t forgotten you, what you’ve put before Him is just taking time because it’s special. It’s unique to you.”
Believe, pray, and wait. God is preparing a blessing for you…
