Much of our life is spent wondering what God’s purpose is for our lives. Jesus lays that out in simple terms in these two verses. He also says, “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need” (Matthew 6:33). Ninety percent of our lives should be focused on God, serving others, and reaching out to those who don’t know Jesus. The other ten percent is for our worldly concerns. If we focus on doing the ninety percent well, the other ten percent…will fall into place.
