May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O lord, my rock and my redeemer.
There have been many times that I’ve blurted out things I regretted later. Many times I’ve not filtered my words mindfully so that I can get across what I mean in a loving way. I’m working on that. It’s a heart thing. We need to process what we say prior to letting it fly if we are to honour God with our words. We should always attempt to exhort (strongly encourage) one another with our words. These are the building blocks of our faith and create a much stronger bond to our Father in heaven.
