“Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength.”
My little girl is two. She’s the sweetest little angel. She is truly a blessing and as we thought we wouldn’t be able to have her, she has brought much joy. A small percentage of small children do something terrifying when they cry, they hold their breath. This started in our little girl about a year ago. The cry seems to go from 0-60 in a matter of seconds, all of her breath is expelled and she loses consciousness. Seeing your child go limp and sometimes turn blue is the scariest thing ever! But a calmness comes over me now when it happens. It’s a release of control that occurs, knowing God has everything in His hands. This is where our true strength lies, in handing over the reins and trusting in God.
