Samuel then took a large stone and placed it between the towns of Mizpah and Jeshanah. He named it Ebenezer (which means “the stone of help”), for he said, “Up to this point the lord has helped us!”

How often do we commemorate what God has done in our lives? An altar is like saying God has done something amazing and He can do it again. When you’re on the cusp of something big happening, do you have an Ebenezer to remind that God can do this?
