Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. And the tempter came.

We can never accuse Jesus of not knowing what it’s like to be tempted by Satan. As we face our own temptations; we can call on Christ to provide a way out, for strength in the midst of Satan’s attacks.

Lord, when the enemy comes to tempt, give me the strength to go the opposite way.
