But I tell you this—though he won’t do it for friendship’s sake, if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence.“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

Luke 11:8-9


Have you ever faced a truly life changing occurrence in your life, one that literally brought you to your knees? Has God closed the door, or is he just postponing guiding you through it? As a mature Christian, you have to pray for discernment. If God has laid it on your heart, that the door is still ajar, it’s time to start knocking (praying). Part of God’s times of testing require us to persevere and knock (pray) consistently. It may take days, months, and even years, but your faith will grow and you are honoring God.
