Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Ephesians 5:1-2
If we strive for just one thing, to love others as Christ loves us, we’ve won half the battle over our sinful nature. It may sound silly, but asking ourselves “what would Jesus do” can be pretty powerful. It’s when we react first that our sinful nature can be revealed, rather than reflecting on how Christ would approach the situation. The more we learn how to react in love, the more love becomes our number one trait.
